What happens if something goes wrong
If all or part of your booking cannot be delivered as stated in the booking confirmation and no replacement arrangement can be made whose differences from what you booked are so small that they are insignificant to you (e.g. a hotel or cottage of the same class) you have the right to cancel. You will then be refunded everything you have paid, less the value of any parts of the booking that you may already have used
If you have complaints you must submit them to us within 3 days from the day of arrival. Faults that occur during the stay must be reported immediately. This is primarily done to the hotel or host. If you have failed to seek rectification during the rental period and thereby not given the hotel/host the opportunity to remedy any shortcomings, you cannot subsequently claim compensation
If you are still not satisfied with the compensation/settlement this must be submitted in writing no later than 60 days after departure
What happens if you and the hotel/host do not agree
Contact us directly with any complaints. If we do not reach an agreement you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Complaints or a general court
As an intermediary of accommodation we ensure that
- You receive a written confirmation of your booking
- You receive documents and other information in good time
- You are informed of any material changes concerning your booking
- You have access to the cottage/apartment from the time stated on your booking confirmation
- If you are not satisfied with all or part of the booking it is us you should contact
We always strive for the properties' images and descriptions to be correct and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that this is always the case, as the hotel/host themselves are responsible for product descriptions and images as well as prices and availability. DGAB therefore cannot be held liable for any incorrect, misleading, erroneous or missing product information
We are not responsible for promises that the hotel/host or their contact person may have made to you directly without our knowledge and which we were not aware of. (If you have agreed to something that is not covered by our contract, make sure you get it in writing and signed by the hotel/host or their contact person)
What are your obligations
- You are obliged to check the booking confirmation yourself as soon as you have received it. Any inaccuracies must be reported immediately. Statements made by booking staff that are of material importance to you must be noted in the documents to be invoked
- You must follow rules of conduct, instructions and regulations that apply to the cottage/apartment, means of transport, etc. You are responsible for any damage to the property and its furnishings caused by you or anyone else in your party through negligence. You must not use the cottage/apartment for any purpose other than that agreed at the time of booking (usually recreational purposes) and you must not allow more people to stay overnight in the cottage/apartment or on the property than you stated in the booking. All persons must be stated at the time of booking; we assume that a maximum of one child under 2 years does not use a separate bed unless otherwise stated
- If complaints about disturbing behaviour are received by the host he has the right to immediately evict the tenant if rectification does not occur immediately after a warning. The same rules apply where there are more people present than the number permitted for the property. You as a guest are obliged to compensate the lessor for costs incurred as a result of the above. Refunds for remaining nights are made only for the nights the lessor can re-rent
- If you have any complaint regarding the property you should in the first instance contact the host so that any issues can be resolved during your stay
- You must at the time of booking state if you suffer from any type of allergy so that we as intermediary have the opportunity to find the right property for you. Note! The property description also states if pets/smoking are not allowed. We cannot guarantee that there has not been a pet or smoking in the property shortly before your arrival
- We reserve the right for changes in law and price changes that are beyond our control
