Advanced Firefighting

The training combines theory and practice with a focus on a leadership function in accordance with STCW 2010 regulation VI/3.

Completion of the approved training forms the basis for certificates issued by the Swedish Transport Agency. The certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

The course is carried out in collaboration with the Fire and Medical Care Academy www.brasak.se and BoSS www.bossgotland.se

Basic course: Advanced Firefighting, Advanced firefighting

The basic course in advanced firefighting is aimed at seafarers in command positions on board, e.g. smoke diving leaders, deputy smoke diving leaders and fire chiefs, as well as other officers within the deck and engine departments.

Admission requirements: Valid basic safety training/Basic Safety certificate.

Price: 7,500 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and coffee are included.

Refresher training: Advanced Firefighting, Advanced firefighting

For certificate renewal, refresher training is required.

Course location: Visby
Admission requirements: Certificate in advanced firefighting. 3 months of relevant sea service in the past 5 years.

Price: 4,900 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and coffee are included during the course.
