Basic Safety
The course provides knowledge of survival techniques for abandoning ship, fire and firefighting, maintaining readiness in an emergency and taking immediate medical measures at an accident site. We have an approved fire ground at our disposal in accordance with the requirements in TSFS 2013:47 Annexes 13 and 14.
The course covers what is stated in STCW 2010 regulation VI/1.2. The course is conducted in collaboration with the Fire and Medical Academy www.brasak.se and BoSS www.bossgotland.se
Completion of the approved training forms the basis for a certificate issued by the Swedish Transport Agency. The certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

This basic safety training aims to provide personnel in the shipboard safety organisation with knowledge of basic safety

Entry requirements: A valid approved medical certificate for seafarers in accordance with the STCW 2010 Manila Amendments
Cost: 9,000 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and refreshments are included during the course.
Refresher: Basic Safety, Basic safety training
When renewing a certificate, refresher training must be completed
Course length: 2 days
Entry requirements: Certificate in basic safety training or course certificate, not older than 5 years. 3 months' sea service in the last 5 years
Cost: 7,500 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and refreshments are included during the course.
