Our training in fast rescue boats is available as a basic course and a refresher course
Fast Rescue Boats, Snabba Beredskapsbåtar
Training for fast rescue boats (FRB) is intended for personnel who operate or are assigned to crew FRB boats aboard ships equipped with them. STCW A-VI/2-2.
The course combines theory and practice with the greatest focus on practical handling.
We have 2 FRBs available for the training. One with waterjet propulsion and one with an outboard motor.
Both are SOLAS approved.
Completion of the approved training forms the basis for a certificate issued by the Swedish Transport Agency.
The certificate is valid for 5 years.
Course length: 2 days.
Location: Visby.
Entry requirements: Certificate in standby boats and rescue craft.
Cost: 8,000 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and refreshments included.
Refresher training: Fast Rescue Boats, Snabba Beredskapsbåtar
To renew the certificate you must undergo refresher training.
Course length: 1 day
Location: Visby
Entry requirements: Certificate in fast rescue boats. 3 months' relevant service within the last 5 years.
Cost: 3,000 SEK excl. VAT. Lunch and refreshments included.
