Travel and payment terms

Mini and Flexi are two ticket types with different rates and conditions. You can choose different ticket combinations for your outward and return journey. All tickets can be booked until departure time. Ticket types cannot be changed after booking.

Mini ticket & Car Package

The Mini ticket is non-rebookable and non-refundable.

Travel conditions: The ticket is non-rebookable and non-refundable. Additional bookings and passenger name changes are allowed. Cancellation of extra services (e.g. transfer bus tickets) up to 1 hour before departure are refundable within 90 days from departure date.

Payment terms: Immediate payment. Tickets not paid in time are automatically cancelled.

Flexi ticket

The Flexi ticket is rebookable and refundable

Travel conditions: The Flexi ticket can be rebooked up to 1 hour before departure and is refundable if cancelled no later than 1 hour before departure. It can be rebooked to another date within 90 days of the initial journey date. If you rebook to a more expensive alternative, you need to pay the difference. If you rebook to a cheaper alternative, the difference (minus the flexibility fee) is refundable. Ticket cancelled in whole or in part is refundable (minus the flexibility fee) within 90 days from departure date. Tickets not rebooked or cancelled in time are void and cannot be refunded or used on a later date.

Payment terms: Payment due no later than 28 days before departure. Tickets booked later than 28 days before departure require immediate payment. Tickets not paid in time are automatically cancelled. Please note that if you purchase a Mini ticket on the same booking, immediate payment is required for the entire booking.

Cancellation due to illness

All ticket types are refundable if you have to postpone your trip due to illness and you cancel your ticket up to 1 hour before departure, provided a valid doctor’s certificate is shown within 90 days from departure date. The total cost of travel, including the flexibility fee of Flexi tickets, is refundable minus a SEK 50 handling fee.

Payment at terminal cashier counter

If you need to make a late (ad hoc) booking, or changes that require payment less than 1 hour prior to departure, a handling fee of SEK 100 is charged.

Fixed service fee for ticket bookings made by telephone, e-mail or at the ticket office

When booking by telephone, e-mail or at the ticket office, a fixed service fee of 70kr will be added to the booking.

Cash-free ticket office in Oskarshamn and Nynäshamn

No cash payments are accepted at the ticket offices in Oskarshamns and Nynäshamns. At the terminal in Visby it is possible to pay in cash.

Children/youth travelling alone

Children/youth under 13 cannot travel alone; they must be accompanied by someone aged at least 15.

Deviations from the timetable may occur in connection with military transports, due to repair work on the ships, delays or re-routing due to weather conditions, or other conditions over which the shipping line has no control. The shipping line is not responsible for damages or other consequences as a result of this. You may be offered rescheduling between ferries with no service charge.

Changes may occur in times, prices and payment/discount terms during the validity of the time table.
