Bus transfer - City Terminal Stockholm-Nynäshamn and Nynäshamn- City Terminal Stockholm.

There is a direct bus that runs between City Terminal Stockholm and Nynäshamn in connection with all ferry departures and arrivals to Nynäshamn.

The company that offers the bus transfer is called Merresor (formerly Båtbussarna) from 1 September. This is what their buses look like:

Stockholm-Nynäshamn City Terminal:

Direct bus departs from City Terminal 1 hour and 45 minutes before all ferry departures from Nynäshamn.

Nynäshamn-City Terminal Stockholm:

Direct bus departs from Nynäshamn to City Terminal in connection with all ferry arrivals. The journey takes about 55 minutes and the buses arrive at the City Terminal about 1 hour and 15 minutes after the ferry’s arrival in Nynäshamn. One of the buses stops at Gullmarsplan / Globen for possible disembarkation.


Bus tickets can be purchased in connection with the purchase of ferry tickets or onboard the ships. At the City Terminal in Stockholm, it is possible to buy tickets at the ticket kiosk or in connection with boarding. Pre-purchased ticket costs SEK 119 one way. Travelers who buy their ticket on boarding pay SEK 149. Island residents who book a bus in conjunction with their ferry ticket pay SEK 89. Two children up to 11 years travel without cost in the company of an adult.

For travellers who are going from Nynäshamn to the City Terminal in Stockholm, it is important to buy your ticket at the same time as the ferry ticket, or onboard, to ensure that you get a seat on the bus.
